Welcome to Thomas Yuin University residence life. Here you will be able to find all information regarding residence at Thomas Yuin. Please make sure to read over all the information carefully and if you have any further questions, you can contact residence life assistance.

Overview

Thomas Yuin University is equipped with 24 12-story dorm buildings located at the far west side of campus. Dorm buildings are properly evaluated by the safety board and currently up to date with a 100s across the board. We encourage students live on campus to enrich their academic careers and have easy access to academic material, class buildings, sports and clubs, and other students for personal enrichment.

Please ensure to mark off on your initial application whether you'd like to live on campus. We do prefer if all students mark this preference off early however do understand how lives change. If you are a student who lives off campus and would like to live on campus, you can visit the Residence Life office in the Equinox building, floor 15, room 1502.

Dorms

All buildings are broken up in groups of 6 and placed into different building blocks. Placement into buildings is at random lottery however preferences can be selected on the application. All rooms are assigned 2 students. All room are built like apartments with a private bathroom, in suite kitchen, a dining area, and 2 rooms.

All bedrooms include: One twin bed, a desk and chair, desk mounted bookshelf, 2 power outlets, a mini fridge, closet and curtains.

Kitchen: Stove, oven, counters, cabinets, fridge, toaster, small kitchen table and chair.

Living room: Couch, shelf, entertainment stand.

Bathroom: counter, sink, mirror, detachable shower head, toilet.

*All rooms are able to be customized (wallpaper added, posters, small shelves) and furniture can be added. (All original furniture cannot be swapped out)*

Located south of building blocks is the Light Lock dining hall and the Serenity relaxation center. Meal costs are included in your tuition package. All costs can be found be in tuition and costs under Admission.
